  42. This ZIP file contains the latest ATI Windows NT 3.5.1 mach64 enhanced display 
  43. driver. Do NOT use this driver with NT 3.5.

  47. 2.0    Installation Notes
  48.  
  49. 1. Ensure that you have a copy of PKUNZIP.EXE, v1.10 or later.  PKUNZIP is 
  50. available on most BBS and information services, including the ATI BBS and 
  51. CompuServe.
  52.  
  53. 2. Start Windows NT. 
  54.  
  55. 3. Start a MS DOS prompt.
  56.  
  57. 4. Unzip 64NT3520.ZIP into a temporary directory on your hard disk.  For 
  58. example:

  60. MD \ATITEMP
  61. PKUNZIP 64NT3520.ZIP \ATITEMP
  62.  
  63. 5. Exit the MS DOS prompt, and return to the Windows NT desktop.
  64.  
  65. 6. Run the Windows NT Display program located in the Control Panel, Main
  66.    group.
  67.  
  68. 7. Select Change Display Type.
  69.  
  70. 8. Select Change... from the display options.
  71.  
  72. 9. Select Other...
  73.  
  74. 10. NT will prompt you for the correct path, enter C:\ATITEMP where     
  75.     C:\ATITEMP is the drive containing the unzipped contents of   
  76.     64NT3520.ZIP.
  77.  
  78. 11. A list of all Graphics Accelerator drivers will appears, select
  79.     ATI Compatible Driver.
  80.  
  81. 12. Restart Windows NT.  Windows NT will start up using the mach64 drivers.
  82.  
  83. 13. NT Will boot into 640x480 mode and start the Display applet allowing
  84.     for mode selection.
  85.  
  86. Note: If you select a color depth or resolution, not supported by your
  87.       card, NT will substitute 640x480, 256 color for the display.

  90. 14. Once the driver has been installed, you can delete the contents of the 
  91. temporary directory (DEL \ATITEMP\*.*) and delete the directory itself (RD 
  92. \ATITEMP).  
  93.  
  94. 15. We recommend that you keep a copy of the ZIP file, 64NT3520.ZIP, in 
  95. case you need to install the driver again.
